Extensive Project Experience
netbeyond was founded in 2000 by Daniel Barth and Dr. Martin Burger, starting in a business incubator at Saarland University. The close proximity to a university context always enabled us to benefit from academical knowledge and latest research findings and to unite those harmoniously with reliable practice. Early on in our companies history, we contributed to major research projects funded by the BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research), that also aspired a synthesis of science and practice.
In all our activities, netbeyond plays the role of a networking hub and coordinator. We create ad-hoc teams to meet the specific requirements of any given project—and lead those teams to success. This strategy is time-proven in many years of use and allows an extraordinarily flexible and dynamic mode of operation. Furthermore, it offers the possibility to gather in any project exactly the required qualifications and expertise.
Within its leadership trio, netbeyond is also positioned interdisciplinary and can draw on expert knowledge in the fields of business informatics, information science, computer sciences and psychology. In over ten years, netbeyond realized a wide variety of projects for a diverse set of customers—ranging from small and medium sized businesses to international corporations.
We gladly offer to put our extensive project experience and renowned expertise—especially in the fields of information technology, software engineering, information architecture and usability engineering—to your service. Contact us to discuss your projects, ideas, or requirements.
Connected all over Germany
After we had successfully completed the start-up phase in 2004, netbeyond moved to Science Park Saar, located in close vicinity to Saarland University. There, we have been able to continue to take advantage of the synergy effects provided by an excellent scientific environment. Furthermore, the location Saarland proved to be a definite advantage: the state borders France and Luxembourg, and it provides perfect access to all western European economic centers. This way, we were able to acquire new customers in many parts of Germany.
These days, netbeyond does not maintain one single office location anymore, but is expanding its established network to, for instance, Hamburg and Berlin. In this way, netbeyond is taking into account that different projects require respective tailor-made solutions. Furthermore, the multitude of possibilities given by modern communication and collaboration tools allow us to respond efficiently and effectively to different customer and project requirements. The contacts in Hamburg and Berlin enable netbeyond to react even better to projects that require a Germany-widely connected approach.
Needless to say, netbeyond still intensively stays in touch with all its contacts in Saarland, which we have made during the last decade—contacts established both at Saarland University and in economy in Saarland.
